Blanket Cleaning

Three wash and rinse cycles. No machine drying, only line drying in a special drying room equipped with commercial fans and fresh air circulation. We use only the highly respected NIKWAX Rug-Wash to wash your blankets. Made in England, NIKWAX cleans safely and lifts out dirt. No harsh detergents are used that will damage waterproofing. Sheets, coolers, wraps, shipping boots, exercise boots, saddle pads and any other horse clothing can also be cleaned. Please allow 1 week turnaround.

Waterproofing

Blankets can lose their waterproofing abilities over time. NIKWAX Rug Proof revitalizes and waterproofs blankets.

Blanket Repair

All repairs are done by experienced tailors, sewing on commercial sewing machines. Every effort is made to match hardware and colors. Surcingle hardware, straps, snaps and binding replacements are offered. Leg straps can be added. If the blanket is too far gone to be repaired, the Tack Shack will call you before any work is done.

Blanket Folding and Return

After cleaning, drying and repairing, blankets are folded and clear-wrapped for easy handling and identification. They are then stored or returned to your barn.

Pet Laundry

Dog beds, blankets and pet clothing of all types are washed, hung to dry and clear wrapped.
